MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Data Analytics, Quality Improvement, or a related field.
- Two (2) years experience working with healthcare data, quality reporting, performance improvement, or clinical data.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
- Master’s Degree.
- Experience within a multi-specialty ambulatory network or academic medical center.
- Quality or performance improvement certification (e.g., CPHQ, Lean Six Sigma).
- Collect, validate, and analyze quality, access, patient experience, and safety data (e.g., clinical quality measures, utilization, throughput, outcomes).
- Develop and maintain standardized dashboards, scorecards, and reports aligned with WVU Medicine priorities, payer requirements, and regulatory benchmarks.
- Develop and utilize tools to track, analyze, and report quality metrics
- Monitor trends, identify gaps in performance, and escalate risks or opportunities for improvement.
- Support practice-level and systemwide quality improvement initiatives using established improvement methodologies (e.g., PDSA, Lean, Six Sigma).
- Assist with root cause analyses, action plan development, and outcome tracking.
- Partner with practice leaders and operational teams to promote standardized workflows and sustain improvements.
- Support SMG compliance with ambulatory regulatory, accreditation, and payer quality requirements (e.g., CMS, NCQA, Joint Commission, state programs).
- Assist with audit preparation, survey readiness, measure abstraction, and submission of required data.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support ambulatory accreditation and quality programs.
- Prepare presentations and summaries for leadership, committees, and practice teams.
- Effectively communicate quality performance insights to clinical and operational stakeholders.
- Support ambulatory quality councils, workgroups, and system initiatives as assigned.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with data and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Epic reporting tools, or similar platforms).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
- Work collaboratively across clinical and administrative teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across disciplines.
- Familiarity with value-based care, payer quality programs, and population health metrics.
- Knowledge of healthcare quality metrics, regulatory requirements, and performance improvement principles.
