Responsible for day to day scheduling, monitoring of work flow in a patient registration, processing payments and billing accounts as well as oversight of patient record releases. Acts as a resource to the staff for operational issues and to any other customer who needs assistance.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

• Employee must have proficient use of and accurate data entry and ability to abstract data from Practice Fusion and acts as a resource for employees in the use of the Practice Fusion.
• Reviews work for accuracy
• Collaborates with other staff to assure medical record and scheduling is accurate
• Collects and post payments accurately and balances at the end of the shift
• Releases medical records and Protected Health Information per protocols and adheres to HIPAA
• Communicates with patients and clinic staff to ensure proper paperwork is available for the office visit.
• Monitors use of hospital resources. Assists with ensuring supplies are available.
• Ensures excellence of service in all clinics where employee is assigned to work
• Uses software programs needed to complete registration and process requests for medical records including Meditech, MARS, Laserfiche, and Email.
