Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or Physiology.
- Nationally Certified Athletic Trainer.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two years of experience in Athletic Training.
- Utilize Athletic Training skills to perform evaluation/assessment of patient.
- Perform patient education and design/implement exercise program as indicated by physician or physical therapist.
- Provide visit support to Physician or Physical Therapist during patient visit, including stretching and movement.
- Develops customized treatment plans and makes appropriate recommendations for ideal steps in athlete care.
- Coordinating with the management to maintain equipment inventory.
- May attend sports events to provide the needed on-site care.
- Requires the ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Typical outdoor weather conditions. Normal outpatient, indoor clinical environment.
- Potential exposure to blood borne pathogens and bodily fluids.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
