Data Entry Clerk – Business Office WV News
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Entry Clerk to join our business office team. This role supports daily operations across multiple business entities managed from our office, making accuracy, organization, and adaptability essential to success.
Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain customer data across multiple business systems with a high degree of accuracy
- Process invoicing and assist with billing functions for various affiliated businesses
- Verify, review, and correct data to ensure consistency and completeness across platforms
- Assist with general business office tasks as needed to support the team
Qualifications
- Strong keyboarding skills with an emphasis on speed and accuracy
- Proficiency with computers and a comfort level learning new software; experience with Newzware or similar publishing/media systems is a plus but not required — full training will be provided
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus over extended periods
- Strong organizational skills, particularly when managing tasks across multiple business accounts
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge is preferred; relevant experience will be considered
