Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash, credit, and digital payments while ensuring proper cash handling procedures
- Assist customers with product demos, answering questions about features and benefits to encourage sales
- Upsell related products and promote store promotions to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are attractively presented
- Manage inventory by conducting stock checks, restocking items, and supporting inventory counts
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support the store’s overall operations through effective communication with team members and supervisors
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is essential
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for growth opportunities
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and standing for extended periods
