What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Specialist - Welch Hospital position at WV Department of Health Facilities?
General Description - Responsible for tracking all payments processed for check payment to ensure they have been paid and up to date. Maintain a variety of accounts, process payments to utilities and vendors to pay for supplies, materials, and other expenses. Key all purchase orders in Financials in WV OASIS to pay invoices that cannot be paid via credit card. This position will be a purchase cardholder that will be responsible for paying invoices and ordering supplies. This position will cross train in Central Supply.
Mandatory overtime is an essential job function of this position. Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete a criminal background check and a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug testing for probable cause as set forth in agency and bureau policies. Welch Community Hospital is a tobacco free campus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
