WV Caring is seeking an experienced, compassionate Registered Nurse to join our After-Hours Hospice Team serving Randolph, Tucker and Pocahontas Counties.
This is a full-time salaried position with a 7-on/7-off schedule—providing the security and benefits of full-time employment with 26 weeks off each year.

What You’ll Do
You will be the clinical resource our hospice patients and families can depend on after regular business hours.
You’ll assess changing symptoms, provide skilled nursing interventions, manage urgent patient needs, educate and reassure families, coordinate with physicians and the hospice team, and make in-person visits when patients need you.
What We’re Looking For
- Current West Virginia RN license
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Confidence working independently
- Compassionate communication with patients and families
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the assigned service area
- Hospice, home health, ER, ICU, oncology, med-surg or similar clinical experience preferred
Hospice experience is preferred, but we will train the right RN.
