What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tint Specialist position at Wurth Group of North America Inc.?
Position Summary:
A Tint Specialist provides customer service in the form of color-matching stains/paints/glazes. The Tint Specialist will also be responsible for making sure the Lacquer orders get pulled and put on the trucks properly. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Mixing and Matching of Stains and Pigmented Lacquers
- Perform required quality control checks for all outgoing tinted items
- Maintain in-depth and detailed records of colors developed as outlined in the Tint Station Operations Manual
- Stocking Items
- Supporting Lacquer Specialist and Sales Team
- Pull, Catalyze, Shake, and stage truck orders for Finish
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Keep an accurate log of any pour-offs of bad material and deposit into the waste drum and keep it labeled appropriately
- Perform other duties as required and assigned
Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
- Have previous work experience selling paint and paint related products
- Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
- Knowledge or Experience in working with Lacquer/Colors/Stain development
- Ability to see color (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow)
- Knowledge of wood products such as species, plywood, lumber
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
