As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for planning and managing the activities within the production organization. You will analyze and implement improvements that have an impact on organizational efficiency and product quality. You will collaborate with and work in conjunction with the Engineering, Quality, Sales and Purchasing teams to ensure the timely and efficient flow of quality products through the manufacturing process. Using your experience with ISO9001 & ISO14001 in your previous production management role, you will be able to define quality improvement processes and corrective actions and train the manufacturing team.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the production process, working with the production scheduler to maximize efficiency.
2. Ensure that production is cost effective and productivity goals are met
3. Determine and manage resource requirements to support business plans
4. Define, measure and improve upon product cycle times.
5. Estimate costs and ensure quality standards are meet or exceeded.
6. Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
7. Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs.
8. Work directly with the Quality Manager, Engineers, and technicians to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.
9. Develop and implement a cross training and development program for production associates.
10. Ensure that the products are produced on time with excellent quality.
11. Coach, mentor, and train associates to ensure successful performance.
12. Accountable for ensuring that production schedules are met on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.
13. Monitor, manage and report on production metrics for assigned departments.
14. Responsible for ensuring the proper appearance, image, and security of the facility and equipment.
15. Responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment.
16. Champion a robust Continuous Improvement program focused on driving waste out of the process.

1. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008/2015 system and processes.
2. TS16949 knowledge is a plus.
3. Planning and organization skills to be able to run and monitor the production process.
4. Ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problems.
5. Capacity to detail to ensure high levels of quality.
6. Ability to act as a subject matter expert with in-depth knowledge of Manufacturing.
7. Demonstrated excellence in communication, presentation, and teamwork skills, enabling effective interactions with customers and seamless collaboration with hardware and sales engineering teams.
8. Excellent computer skills including word processing, internet, databases, spreadsheets and project software.
9. Ability to manage several assignments simultaneously.
10. Demonstrated sense of urgency in meeting all aspects of the job responsibilities and daily activities.
1. 5 years of industry experience in Manufacturing Operations.
2. Prefer Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
3. Experience with electronic and/or electro-mechanical product manufacturing.
4. Experience working in automotive manufacturing or IATF certified facility.
5. Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing and Theory of Constrain(t)s methods.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
