Role Description
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable QA / Playtest Support Intern to support testing efforts across our team as we approach launch on an upcoming fantasy survival PC title.
This is an entry-level role ideal for someone looking to break into QA or game development. You’ll work closely with the Producer and Lead Game Designer to help identify issues, improve gameplay quality, and ensure a polished player experience.
This role is less about “just playing games” and more about analyzing systems, identifying problems, and communicating them clearly.
What You’ll Do
• Playtest the game daily (2–3 hours) with a focus on identifying bugs, edge cases, and gameplay issues
• Write clear, structured bug reports with steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and supporting details
• Retest fixes and verify that issues are fully resolved
• Support testing across multiple areas of the game (gameplay systems, UI, performance, etc.)
• Organize and summarize feedback into actionable reports for the team
• Capture gameplay clips when needed for documentation or team review
What We’re Looking For
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to clearly communicate issues in writing (organized, specific, and concise)
• Reliability and ability to follow through on tasks
• Familiarity with survival/sandbox games (e.g., Rust, Ark, Conan Exiles)
• Ability to work onsite in Lehi, UT
• Availability for 30–40 hours per week
Nice to Have (Not Required)
• Any experience with bug reporting, QA tools, or structured testing
• Familiarity with Unity (HDRP)
• Experience organizing data or working with spreadsheets
