About the Role
The Credit Supervisor oversees all aspects of the company’s credit and collections operations. This role ensures timely collections, manages credit risk, and supports sales by maintaining a profitable and compliant credit portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable to maintain DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) under 14 days.
- Collaborate with Sales, Plant, and Live Division teams to manage credit accounts and minimize risk.
- Resolve collection issues raised by staff promptly.
- Conduct annual reviews of top accounts and periodic reviews of all other accounts to ensure appropriate credit limits.
- Evaluate new account requests and recommend credit terms within 3–5 business days.
- Monitor customer payment trends and take action on slow or delinquent accounts.
- Review AR aging daily and report problem accounts to management.
- Process vendor credit applications and maintain accurate customer payment records.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports and manage customer rebate and commission programs.
- Assist with cash reports, bank reconciliations, and credit card administration.
- Oversee day-to-day credit staff duties in their absence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- 5–7 years of credit and financial analysis experience, preferably in manufacturing or poultry.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Expert knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office; SAP or other ERP experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Office-based role with standard office equipment.
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and handling of office materials.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Pay: $45,444.95 - $54,729.40 per year
