We are seeking a Medical Front Desk professional to join our Ophthalmology/Optometry healthcare team full-time. Duties
- Greet patients warmly and provide outstanding customer service in Mandarin and English, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient intake using EHR eClinicalWorks.
- Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance verification, and assist with billing processes including medical collection procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records by reviewing documentation, managing medical office files, and updating patient information securely in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Answer multi-line phone systems professionally, handle appointment rescheduling, and address patient inquiries with clarity and empathy.
- Support office management activities such as filing, data entry, and management.
- Coordinate with clinical staff on care plans, medical scheduling, and follow-up appointments to ensure seamless clinic operations.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is not required however greatly welcomed.
Pay can be negotiated depending on experience and growth during probational period.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
