Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises using CCTV surveillance and physical security measures to deter unauthorized access and identify potential threats.
• Manage access control systems by verifying identities, performing background checks, and authorizing entry for authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond swiftly to incidents by writing detailed reports, coordinating with emergency services, and executing emergency response procedures such as CPR or AED operation when necessary.
• Handle firearm handling responsibilities with strict adherence to safety protocols and legal regulations while maintaining readiness for conflict de-escalation and conflict management situations.
• Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting during security setups or incident responses while ensuring safety standards are met.
• Monitor surveillance equipment like CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors professionally while maintaining a secure environment at all times.

Skills

• Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or professional security roles with knowledge of physical security practices.
• Strong surveillance skills including CCTV operation and incident report writing capabilities.
• Expertise in access control systems, performing background checks, and managing security clearance procedures.
• Ability to handle firearms responsibly with proper training in firearm handling regulations.
• Skilled in conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies to resolve issues peacefully.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and heavy lifting techniques.
• Familiarity with fire safety protocols, incident reporting standards, and compliance with security regulations.
• Excellent communication skills paired with customer service orientation to assist visitors effectively while maintaining security protocols.
