What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at WTS Energy?
Service Technician will be responsible for assisting in multiple areas of production and may be promoted and trained in skilled positions. The Service Technician is also required to adhere to all safety and quality policies implemented.
This is an hourly non-exempt position.
Education: • GED or High School Diploma
Qualifications: • Must be willing to learn
• Technical aptitude Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions of the Position: Should be able to perform the below duties without assistance:
• Operate a forklift and crane – Training will be provided
• Load and unload trucks • Move tools on and off racks
• Painting
• Grinding
• General cleanup of the shop and yard
• Surface Finishing (Shot Peen, Cold Roll, Phosphating)
• Other duties as assigned
Work Environment: The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme outside temperatures and Industrial hygiene regulated activities identified as potentially actionable according to OSHA standards. Including Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection and HAZCOM programs. Procedures are developed at each facility to minimize all risks and hazards through control measures.
Salary : $18 - $20
