📅 Scheduler Manager – Virginia, USA
We are currently looking for an experienced Scheduler Manager to join a major civil infrastructure project in Norfolk, Virginia.
This is an opportunity for a scheduling professional with strong Heavy Civil construction experience who can take ownership of project schedules and work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents and engineering teams.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cost- and resource-loaded CPM schedules
- Manage baseline and monthly schedule updates and narratives
- Monitor progress, critical path and schedule deviations
- Lead time impact and delay analyses related to claims
- Develop and maintain 5-week look-ahead schedules
- Coordinate with engineering and field teams to verify progress
- Prepare schedule reports, trends and performance analyses
- Support project planning and decision-making
- Guide junior schedulers when required
- Provide forecasting for revenue, cost, labor, materials and equipment
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 10 years of engineering experience in Heavy Civil construction
- 5 years of experience in Heavy Civil construction project management
- Proven experience in project scheduling
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6
- Experience with CPM scheduling, critical path, resource loading and forecasting
- Experience with claims, delay analysis and schedule impact analysis
- HCSS and Agtek experience is a plus
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Willingness to work in a field/operations and office environment
