WTR is an established business that is moving to the DFW area. We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in HVAC/R systems, appliance repair, and equipment maintenance. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of refrigeration systems and related equipment in various settings, including commercial and residential environments.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and HVAC units.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, evaporators, and condensers.
- Plumb new installations according to specifications and local codes.
- Conduct regular inspections of refrigeration units to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs performed.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to HVAC/R systems.
