Job Summary:
We are hiring for 2 Field Technicians Level I, II, or III salary and level based on experience. Field Technician will be responsible for multiple pipeline tasks on natural gas transmission and distribution systems including compliance work, pipeline and facility maintenance, project oversight, measurement, meter reading, and daily operations. The candidate will perform duties in office and field environments.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Meter service and installation
- Pipeline locating
- Customer service
- Natural gas odor investigation
- Connecting and disconnecting natural gas services
- Construction and maintenance work
- Installing and repairing natural gas main and service lines
- Fusing pipe
- Maintain records associated with service and repair functions
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must have a valid state driver’s License and maintain insurability with corporate insurance company.
- Must successfully complete all required pre-employment testing.
- Must live within 35 miles of Waxahachie, Texas or Hubbard Texas
- Employees are subject to on-call rotation
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Requires excellent communication collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook
- Strong mechanical skills are a plus.
- Ability to successfully pass all required Operator Qualifications.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Driving, walking, standing frequently
- Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting
