Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Child Care Center Director/Educational Coordinator to lead and oversee the daily operations of a vibrant early childhood education environment. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational programs that promote childhood development, safety, and compliance. Duties
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative, developmentally appropriate curricula aligned with best practices in early childhood education and legal standards.
- Oversee daily center operations, ensuring adherence to licensing regulations, safety protocols, and educational policies.
- Manage personnel including hiring, training, supervising, evaluating faculty and staff to maintain a motivated and professional team.
- Facilitate ongoing professional development opportunities for staff to enhance instructional quality and compliance with educational standards.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to early childhood education and school legal requirements.
- Conduct regular assessments of classroom environments and instructional practices to promote excellence in childhood development outcomes.
- Represent the center at community events, public speaking engagements, and stakeholder meetings to promote its mission and foster partnerships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in school administrative leadership or as a school or child care director with a strong background in early childhood education.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and classroom management within early childhood or elementary education environments.
- Strong management skills with experience supervising staff and facilitating professional development programs.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking, team leadership, and community outreach efforts.
- Familiarity with school legal requirements, educational regulation standards, and personnel management in educational settings.
- A passion for early childhood education combined with a proactive approach to leadership that inspires teams to excel in service delivery.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
