Full job description
Gulf Cable is looking to hire a knowledgeable operator to operate a Copper Wire Screening Machine and/or Aluminum/Copper Wire Stranding Machine. These machines process several copper or aluminum wires; they apply around center core or bunch them to make conductor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Has run screening or stranding machine in a Cable Manufacturing facility.
- Can set-up the screening or stranding machine independently from selection of tooling, set-up of pay-off and take-up, setting running parameters and monitoring the Quality of Product consistently.
- Familiar with electronic screens (Human Machine Interface) for controlling the screening or stranding process.
- Good Mechanical skills with ability to handle and move heavy reels of products.
- Must maintain consistent log of production and Quality per Gulf Cable systems.

Pay Frequency:
- Bi weekly or Twice monthly
Shifts: 12hrs (7:30am to 7:30pm or 7:30pm to 7:30am)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- CNC Operator: 1 year (Preferred)
- machine operator: 1 year (Preferred)
