Ag Equipment Sales

WT Equipment is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Ag Equipment Salesman to join our team in Berryville, Arkansas. WT Equipment is a family-owned agricultural and light construction equipment dealership serving customers throughout Arkansas since 1973. We represent industry-leading brands including New Holland, Bobcat, Case, Vermeer, Bush Hog, and Hustler and are committed to providing exceptional equipment solutions and customer service.

Ag Equipment Sales Position Overview

The Ag Equipment Salesman is responsible for selling new and used agricultural equipment, tractors, farm implements, lawn and garden equipment, and light construction equipment to both new and existing customers. This position focuses on building strong customer relationships, identifying equipment needs, and helping customers find the best solutions for their operations.

Ag Equipment Sales Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with agricultural producers, landowners, contractors, and rural property owners.
• Sell new and used agricultural, lawn and garden, and light construction equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of dealership inventory, product features, financing programs, and promotions.
• Prospect for new customers and follow up with existing customers to generate sales opportunities.
• Monitor customer needs, industry trends, and competitive activity.
• Assist customers in evaluating equipment options and financing solutions.
• Attend manufacturer and dealership sales training programs.
• Work closely with parts, service, and management teams to provide outstanding customer experience.
• Assist with equipment displays, inventory organization, and dealership events as needed.

Ag Equipment Sales Qualifications

• Previous sales experience preferred; agricultural or equipment sales experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of farming, ranching, agricultural equipment, or construction equipment preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and internet applications.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours during seasonal sales periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
