Job Overview
We are seeking a general mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of gas and diesel equipment. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on our rental equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks across multiple sites.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot mechanical problems effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
Requirements
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), including equipment repair and preventive maintenance practices.
- Construction experience or familiarity with construction equipment is a plus.
- Customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when needed.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate company vehicles safely.
Pay: $28.80 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
