Position Summary

The Day Yard Spotter is responsible for moving and shuttling trailers between docks and drop lots within a local 5-mile radius. This role supports nightly operations by keeping freight moving efficiently and safely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Move and shuttle trailers between docks and drop lots within a local area.

• Support yard and dock operations to keep freight moving efficiently.

• Work closely with dispatch, warehouse, and transportation teams.

• Follow all company and DOT safety procedures.

• Maintain a professional and safety-first approach at all times.

Schedule and Compensation

• Night shift: 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM on a 2-2-3 schedule.

• Local work within a 5-mile radius.

• Starting pay of $26.50 per hour.

• Overtime after 40 hours.

• Premium overtime for all Sunday hours.
