WSW Logistics is hiring a Seasonal, Part-Time, As-Needed Scale House Associate to provide fill-in coverage at our Perry, Arkansas facility.

Position Summary
The Scale House Associate is responsible for managing the daily flow of paperwork, carrier tracking, and administrative tasks necessary to keep our facility operating safely and efficiently. This role serves as a vital communication point for drivers, yard spotters, and office personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage Bill of Lading (BOL) paperwork for Scrap OCC and coordinate with office personnel to generate outbound BOLs.

Execute accurate data entry of trailer and carrier information into the GBP Inventory System.

Maintain direct communication with Yard Spotters, efficiently directing them to trailer locations.

Support dispatch and communication logistics for chemical and coal trucks entering and exiting the mill.

Organize, maintain, and secure daily paperwork and carrier files.

Assist in promoting WSW Logistics safety initiatives and compliance.

Provide general administrative and office support as needed, alongside other duties as assigned.

Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a professional, safety-first approach at all times.
Qualifications

Prior experience in shipping, receiving, transportation administration, or data entry preferred.

Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.

Excellent verbal communication skills for coordinating with drivers, dispatch, and yard personnel.

Reliable work ethic and ability to work independently during assigned shifts.

Flexibility to work day or night shifts on an as-needed basis to support operational needs.
Schedule and Compensation

Part-Time / As-Needed shift schedule based on operational and coverage requirements.

Starting pay of $18.00 per hour.
