Responsible for finding, writing and producing entertainment and lifestyle packages and news stories for daily half-hour news program. Candidate should be a self-motivator, able to generate unique stories with a quick turn-around for air. Must be able to wear two hats: one of a news producer with a basic grasp of current events and also an entertainment producer who is aware of what's popular in show business and pop culture. Two years minimum news writing experience preferred. Should be able to work nights and weekends when necessary.
