Summary of Roles and Responsibilities :
The Senior Consultant will have the following roles and responsibilities:
- Lead consulting engagements with utility customers to assess their current GIS and define a clear roadmap for migrating to the Esri Utility Network.
- Provide expert-level advice on Esri Utility Network schema design, implementation, best practices, and integration with other systems.
- Develop customized strategies for utility customers, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems to the Esri Utility Network.
- Conduct workshops, stakeholder meetings, and presentations to ensure a clear understanding of project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Assist in designing, configuring, and deploying Esri Utility Network solutions that align with clients’ business needs.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure project success from concept through execution.
- Provide post-implementation support and guidance to ensure long-term customer success.
The Senior Professional must have the following education, experience, skills, and knowledge:
- 5 years of experience in GIS consulting, with significant experience in the utility sector.
- Expertise in the Esri Utility Network and related Esri technologies (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, etc.).
- Proven experience in developing and executing implementation roadmaps for utility companies.
- Strong knowledge of utility business processes (electric, gas, water, etc.).
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams through complex implementations.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions and integration of GIS with other enterprise systems is a plus.
