WSP is hiring a Civil Designer to join our Site Civil Engineering Business Line in Cincinnati, Ohio. Candidates located in Exton, Pennsylvania, or Billings, Montana, will also be considered.

Your Impact
- Capable of working independently
- Provide innovative recommendations and solutions on project challenges
- Self-motivation to provide high quality of work
- Moderate understanding of civil engineering infrastructure, sitework and environmental construction procedures, specifications, and materials
- Moderate understanding of site layout, grading, drainage and storm water management design
- Moderate to strong understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Basic understanding of MicroStation to produce Civil Drawing Packages
- Moderate understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
- Develop working knowledge of Industry and Client/Power Standards and Compliance
- Participating in dialogue with project teams, ensuring project expectations are understood prior to task execution
- Maintain a high level of quality and efficiency in alignment with project scope and coordinate with project teams on product delivery status in relationship to required due date
- Clear communication of work schedule with project teams to provide confidence that project expectations will be met
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant post education experience in discipline with prior drafting and design support experience.
- Knowledge of drafting and design support principles, practices, process, methods and techniques.
- Understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D sheet set production, topographic models and grading modeling
- Willing and able to self-check own work for completeness and accuracy
- Willingness to coordinate with other team members to meet project needs
- Must be flexible to changes in work assignments as changes occur in project needs
- The candidate must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to work effectively with other team members
- Associate’s degree in closely related discipline is preferred.
- Advanced understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D Site/Land Development experience, grading, drainage, stormwater management design modeling
- Working knowledge of survey coordinate systems is a plus
