What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor- Facility position at WSI (Warehouse Specialists, LLC)?
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensure safety is the main focus while also making sure KPI’s are met
- Monitor the daily inbound/outbound schedule and achieve 100% LRTC that is in your shift control
- Manage the daily work load and labor hours
- Complete all shift reports accurately
- Ensure the distribution center and our mill areas are kept clean and “tour ready”
- Keep our inventory accuracy at 99% or higher
- Complete accident investigations, reporting, and retraining
- Interact and respond appropriately and courteously with our customer and our employees
- Conduct warehouse audits and safety observations
- Complete all coaching, performance evaluations and discipline write-up in a timely manner
- Strong training skills and patience
- Other assignments/projects as needed to ensure our customer needs are met
- Mentor and coach Production and Dock Leads.
- Ability to make decisions and stay calm under pressure
- Ability to build and maintain a cohesive team
- Proficient reading and writing skills
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
- Perform daily tasks in an organized manner
- Ability to follow instructions and follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilities
- Minimum 2 years previous leadership experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in warehouse environment.
