Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Warehouse Services, Inc. is currently seeking full time material handlers / forklift operators in Bay St Louis, MS at its operation in Port Bienville. 

Candidates can earn up to $1500 sign on bonus and earn 40 hours of vacation after 90 days of employment! 

Under general supervision, performs a variety of assignments, both technical and clerical, to receive, inspect, store and ship material, but not limited to receipt, control, preparation, material distribution, records, and reports. Receives general direction on new assignment aspects and instructions as to how to perform required tasks and results expected.  Duties require manual, clerical, and data entry skills.

1. Operates material handling equipment as required to receive, store, process orders, and ship material.
2. Performs receiving and shipping inspections and identifies all incoming and outgoing material shipments to determine: a) quantity is as ordered b) no damage is apparent, and c) documentation is available as required.
3. Performs physical material inventories to establish, maintain, and document the receipt, shipment and control of sample inventories.
4. Follow all safety and operational procedures for the handling and repacking of material.
5. Must be able to work rotating 12 hour day and night shift positions. Work 36 and paid 40 hours. 
6. Posses a current valid TWIC card.
