Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing acute mental health or substance-use-related needs.
- Perform assessments, monitor withdrawal symptoms, and administer medications per facility protocols.
- Collaborate closely with behavioral health teams, including providers, therapists, and support staff.
- Support crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts while maintaining a safe environment.
- Document all care accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to support patient progress and continuity of care.
