Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Part-time Administrative Assistant needed for a small design and consultancy firm in Highland, New York. Primary job role is Assistant to the Financial Director and priority tasks and required skills include but are not limited to:
- Credit card and bank reconciliations.
- Entering accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions into QuickBooks Premier Plus Edition 2024 (Desktop).
- Strong command of QuickBooks Desktop version, MS Word and Excel.
- Managing submittals of reimbursable / rebillable expenses from staff / project managers.
- Mail pick-up, sorting, sending mail and or packages.
- Filing, maintaining and updating office supplies, assist with check runs and check deposits through online web capture portal.
- Assist with errands, telephone reception, ordering food for office lunches/events
- Applicant should have at least 3-5 years administrative experience and demonstrate flexibility and desire to learn and grow.
- Applicant should be a collaborative and positive team member.
- Must be dependable and well organized, energetic, and have the ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience with HR tasking is a plus.
This is a part-time in-office (not remote) position with the potential to transition to full-time based on performance and business needs. Schedule options: 24hrs/week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm or Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 3:30pm. Pay rate to be discussed and dependent on experience.
