Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assessment tools.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, implementing behavior management strategies as needed.
- Provide individualized support for students with special education needs or those requiring early intervention.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience across grade levels.
Skills
- Experience in toddler care or working with young children is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of special education principles and practices.
- Proficient in classroom management techniques to maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively.
- Experience in private school settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with early intervention techniques for children at risk of developmental delays.
- Strong childcare skills, emphasizing child welfare and safety.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students, parents, and staff effectively.
