What You Will Do
Program Performance
- Take part in monthly meetings with assigned PMs to review Project Key Performance metrics and understand project changes.
- Understand the key metrics that influence the Project lifecycle. Drive improved reporting and insights to assist Project Managers to understand what action needs to be taken.
- Learn about Deltek, Salesforce, PowerBI, and any other important systems and databases to understand how to harvest key metrics.
- Use PowerBI, Excel, Power Point to share project insights with Project Managers.
- Understand and drive project set up /maintenance best practices.
- Own project submissions process. Ensure prioritization and action is taken to translate project plans, contracts, and obligations from Project Managers into the Project Management systems, data, and reporting.
- Understand and accurately complete project set-up for all project types based on timeline expectations.
- Identify project set-up complications, escalate concerns to PMs, and drive project set-up to successful resolution.
- Validate, update, and verify project data to support project management best practices.
- Make changes to project budgets, project plans, resource plans as directed by Project Managers.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related. Junior or Senior standing preferred.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines while providing over-the-top customer service.
- Strong problem-solving skills and be comfortable with change.
- Microsoft Office experience using Word (basic level skills) and Excel (intermediate level skills) is required.
- Interest in business insights and business intelligence.
