- Responsible for multiple systems on resort hotels, high-end retail, data centers, and F1 projects
- Participate in fully engineered estimates up to $5M
- Understand the concepts and process of conceptual estimates and budgets up to $1M
- Review the scope specified within the proposal and ensure estimates include appropriate scope
- Develop detailed cost estimates and proactively identify deficiencies and/or questions; actively assist the project team toward the answers
- Review contract documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and equitable cost allowance for scope changes
- Proficient with estimating software
- Working knowledge of McCormick and Bluebeam
- Proven accuracy, reliability and completeness in job accomplishment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Review Estimate take-offs
- Understanding and familiarity with NEC
- High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management or similar is preferred
- 2 or more years of electrical estimating experience
- 2 or more years experience working for an electrical subcontractor
- Computer literate and able to quickly master and apply department’s computer systems and software
