ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Porter to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of a high-rise residential community. This role supports both interior and exterior common areas and plays an important part in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain common areas, including lobbies, hallways, community spaces, gym, and pool areas
- Perform routine duties such as sweeping, mopping, trash and recycling removal
- Assist with groundskeeping and upkeep of outdoor areas and building perimeter
- Support valet trash and recycling services as scheduled
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to management
- Provide courteous, professional service to residents, guests, and vendors
Preferred Experience:
- Previous porter, housekeeper, groundskeeper, or hotel/apartment experience preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and light maintenance tasks is a plus
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to respond promptly to emergencies and follow safety procedures.
