What are the responsibilities and job description for the Co-Founder position at WritersLogic, Inc?
Company: WritersLogic, Inc.
Location: Fully Remote (Async-First)
Compensation: Founder Equity (Significant Stake) | Salary upon Revenue/Funding
WritersLogic, Inc. is safeguarding human authorship in the era of generative AI. Our flagship product, witnessd, is a revolutionary cryptographic proof-of-process tool that creates a tamper-evident record of human authorship by documenting the writing process in real-time.
Unlike traditional AI detection—which relies on flawed probabilistic "guessing"—witnessd ensures fairness for all authors by providing verifiable proof of effort. As a Contributor Member of the C2PA, WritersLogic collaborates with industry leaders like Adobe, Microsoft, and the BBC to advance the future of content authenticity. We operate at the intersection of cryptography, open standards, and the preservation of human creativity.
As the Co-Founder and CBO, you will be the commercial architect of WritersLogic. While the technical founder drives the Rust engine, IETF/Unicode standards adoption, and product development, you will own the "everything else." You aren't just managing a business; you are building the market for Forensic Provenance.
You will lead our Go-To-Market strategy, navigating the complex landscape of literary guilds, publishing houses, and content platforms. Your mission is to move WritersLogic from "innovative pilot" to the "industry-standard trust layer" for human-generated content.
- Strategic Partnerships: Secure and manage high-level integrations with the Authors Guild, WGA, AAP, Amazon KDP, and major publishing houses.
- Investor Relations: Spearhead fundraising efforts, targeting VCs who recognize the $10B opportunity in AI Safety and Content Provenance.
- B2B Business Development: Convert existing pilot discussions (JerichoWriters, SafeCreative, Created By Humans) into long-term revenue contracts.
- Market Leadership: Represent WritersLogic at industry events and within standards bodies, positioning our Writers Authenticity Report (WAR) as the mandatory requirement for manuscript acquisition.
- Operations & Scale: Build the business infrastructure to support a global, async-first team as we transition from bootstrapping to Series A.
- Industry Deep-Dive: 10 years of experience in the literary or publishing industry with an active, high-level rolodex (Guilds, Big Five publishers, Content Platforms).
- The "Closer" Mindset: Proven track record of securing B2B customers and leading successful venture capital rounds.
- Standards Literate: While you aren't writing code, you must be able to fluently discuss the value of C2PA, IETF (Proof of Process), and decentralized identity (DIF/ToIP) with non-technical executives.
- Entrepreneurial Grit: You are prepared to lead in a bootstrapped, equity-heavy environment, driven by the massive upside of a protocol-level exit.
- Mission Alignment: A deep-seated belief that "AI Detection" is a failing strategy and that "Proof of Process" is the only way to save the value of human intellectual property.
