What are the responsibilities and job description for the Actor (Female) position at Writer With A Vibe Studios?
Hello, Welcome to Writer With A Vibe Studios! We are currently casting for our independent short film Darling, Love & the Man of Half Hearts, a romantic drama that dives into the complexity of love, guilt and infidelity through poetic and visual storytelling. Looking for both male and female actors. Experience preferred but not required!
Role Overview : Darling
We are seeking a passionate, expressive female actor age 20s-30s, to bring all the emotional layers of our character Darling to life. This role focuses heavily on subtle performance, romantic chemistry and the ability to play out the underlying tones of balancing guilt with desire. Must be comfortable with romantic scenes (no nudity). Open to all body types, hair colors and some tattoos/ piercings will be acceptable (nothing on hands, neck or face).
Compensation :
This project offers a small stipend due to the independent nature of the production, which will be disclosed in the second round of the audition process.
Responsibilities :
- perfrom scripted scenes with emotional authenticity
- take direction and collaborate with all team members
- record voiceovers separate from film days.
Production info:
- 4-5 days of filming in middle Tennessee area
- 3-4 days of filming in Destin, FL ( ride and lodging provided)
- 1 day of voiceover recording (location TBD)
Specific filming dates will be announced once the crew has been finalized as to best fit everyone's availability and cast will be given plenty of notice beforehand.
