We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in various kitchen environments. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and efficiency of our kitchen operations, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of excellence. Pay is based on experience. At this time, we are looking for an individual who lives in Wilmington year-round and is available to work the weeks of Christmas and New Years(we are closed on the holidays themselves). Cheers!

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Handle food items safely, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques are followed.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management.
• Uphold high standards of quality in food preparation, presentation, and taste.

Skills

• Proven experience in the culinary field, preferably in fine dining or restaurant settings.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
• Familiarity with dietary department practices and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. ail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
