Job Summary
This is an entry-level position that requires no prior experience. The hourly starting rate is $14.50. Wright is a family-owned business that has been serving its employees and customers for over 40 years.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones according to ATSSA and DOT regulations.
- Loading and unloading work zone equipment to and from the company vehicle.
- Drive the company vehicle to and from job sites in a safe manner.
- Complete all paperwork in a timely manner.
- Maintain proper PPE as outlined in Wright's specific policy.
- Read and comprehend Wright's safety manual and employee handbook.
- Reports directly to a Field Supervisor.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Reliable communication to receive work schedules.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and tolerate different climates.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain a drug-free status.
- Ability to stand throughout the entire shift.
- Lifting capacity of 50 pounds or more.
- Physical ability to perform flagging duties.
