Wright Yard Services is seeking a dependable, hardworking Landscape Crew Leader to lead one of our residential maintenance crews. This is a full-time position with year-round employment for someone looking to build a long-term career in the landscaping industry.

As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial landscaping equipment, leading a two-person crew, maintaining a professional appearance on customers’ properties, and helping ensure every job is completed to a high standard. After completing the daily mowing route, you may assist our project crew with landscaping, drainage, fencing, or other outdoor construction projects.
Responsibilities
Lead a two-person residential lawn maintenance crew.
Safely operate commercial stand-on mowers, string trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment.
Mow, edge, trim, and clean approximately 50 residential properties each week.
Assist with hedge trimming, weed control, mulch installation, landscaping, fencing, drainage, and other outdoor projects as needed.
Load, unload, clean, and maintain company equipment.
Communicate professionally with customers and represent the company well at every job site.
Work safely in outdoor conditions, including Mississippi heat and humidity.
Help train and encourage crew members while maintaining a positive attitude.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Landscaping or construction experience is preferred but not required.
Strong work ethic, reliability, honesty, and professionalism.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Benefits
Starting pay: $20.00 per hour
Full-time hours during the growing season (40 hours per week)
Minimum of 15 hours per week during the winter season
Three weeks of paid time off annually
