About Us The Wright Square Bistro is a family-owned dining experience in the heart of Downtown Savannah. We are a closely-knit group on a mission to provide our customers with fresh, locally-sourced goods in a casual, ethically-centered European bistro environment. We operate a smoke-free workplace and believe in cross-training—meaning everyone from the owner to our newest team member pitches in on all tasks, big and small.
The Role We are looking for hardworking, hospitality-driven individuals who want to learn, grow, and put our best foot forward for both locals and city visitors. As a team member, you will learn all aspects of the business in a highly collaborative environment. Whether you have some restaurant experience or are exploring a career change into hospitality, we want to hear from you.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Age Requirement: You MUST be at least 18 years old to apply (due to local wine and beer licensing requirements). High school students cannot be considered for this role.
- Experience: Some previous restaurant or customer service experience is generally required.
- Attitude: Must be a team player who is willing to learn and jump into any task needed to keep the bistro running smoothly.
Scheduling & Availability Needs We require a mix of weekday, weekend, and holiday availability, though we always work to accommodate reasonable scheduling needs. We are looking for team members who can work at least part-time within the following shift windows:
- Monday – Thursday: 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Friday & Saturday: 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM (split into two shifts)
- Sunday: 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- (Current operating hours: M/W/Th 11am-5pm, F/Sat 11am-8pm, Sun 11am-4pm)
IMPORTANT APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS & PART-TIME APPLICANTS: If you are a college student or have restricted hours, you must explicitly state your weekday work availability when you apply. We require weekday availability between 10:30 AM and 5:00 PM (Monday through Thursday) in addition to weekends. Applications that do not include your specific availability will not be considered.
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
