Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of equipment and systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy construction equipment, agricultural equipment, and on-highway truck repair.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems
- Repair or replace faulty components or parts
- Install new equipment or systems as needed
- Conduct tests to ensure proper functioning of equipment after repairs or installations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members
