As a key member of our Commercial Project Management team, you will contribute to the technical success of projects from preconstruction through closeout, gaining valuable experience and exposure across all aspects of commercial construction.

  • Support Project Managers with a wide range of technical and administrative functions, contributing to the successful planning and execution of projects from start to finish.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of project scope through review of plans, specifications, and estimates.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all project specifications and expectations are met.
  • Help coordinate schedules and proactively manage timelines to keep projects on track.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Participate in site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project specifications.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, drawings, and contracts.
  • Monitor project progress and budgets, proactively identifying risks and challenges to resolve issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Support project closeout processes, ensuring documentation and final deliverables are completed efficiently and thoroughly.

Education, Experience, And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • One to three years of construction-related experience preferred; internships, co-ops, or academic project experience are highly valued.
  • Solid understanding of construction principles and basic project management practices.
  • Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stay organized and maintain clear documentation to support project cost, schedule, and quality goals.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Procore, or Bluebeam is a plus.
