Job Summary
Psy.D, Ph.D, LPA, LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC, - Independent Contractor (1099) position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive therapeutic services to neurodiverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Duties
- Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) or applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Deliver individual, group, or family counseling sessions focused on issues include ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, Depression, or developmental disabilities.
- Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring accuracy in medical terminology and coding for billing purposes (CPT coding).
- Provide telehealth services utilizing secure platforms to reach clients in remote or underserved areas.
- Support patients through behavioral management techniques and patient care strategies tailored for individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other disabilities.
Skills
- Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
- Strong knowledge of motivational interviewing and crisis intervention methods to motivate clients toward positive change.
- Experience working with children and families in settings like pediatrics or special education environments.
- Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation; knowledge of CPT coding for billing procedures.
- Ability to manage complex cases involving trauma, parent training, and behavioral management.
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms combined with excellent communication skills for remote patient engagement.
- Understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health and experience maintaining compliant medical records under HIPAA standards.
- Skills in group therapy facilitation and behavior management techniques for diverse populations including individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
