Wright Plastic Products currently has an opening for a 1st shift Quality Lab Technician at our Madisonville, TN location
General Responsibilities
Will dimensionally check parts, gages, and tooling on new or changed items to current engineering drawings. This includes part performance specifications such as impact testing, push / pull testing, and dimensional stability testing. Will perform gage calibration and measuring equipment maintenance. Prepares reports for dimensional, performance testing and calibrations. May assist with training on the use and care of measuring and test
Key Responsibilities:
Perform layouts for new and changed parts.
Perform layouts for revalidations as required.
Maintain the calibration of all gages in the calibration system.
Issue gauging test instructions for all jobs as required.
Ensure that all Gage R&R and capability studies are completed.
Issue PPAP Masters and Working Masters for all parts.
Perform Weekly dock audits, Shift Coordinators start up records forms and log.
Send certificates of conformance to customers for each shipment that require them.
Records, Log all quality documents (Nonconforming material reports, Process Parameter sheets, Control records, Wipe out sheets, Eaton fuel vapor system process parameters).
Log material lot certs form suppliers

Minimum Qualifications
Previous experience working in plastics manufacturing environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good computer skills – must have basic windows navigation
Must have experience with quality measuring tools
