Job Description
- Performing patient intake tasks
- Preparing equipment and treatment rooms
- Liaising between patients, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, and other departments
- Assisting patients to walk, sit, and stand
- Observing patients performing prescribed physical exercises
- Documenting patients' responses to treatment and updating patient files
- Applying ice packs or heat pads as instructed
- At least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Personable, energetic, and capable of working with a diverse group of people
- Reliable and professional with the ability to place value on and maintain patient care as the number one priority
- Effective oral and written communication skills
