Paint Shop Supervisor
Oversee daily operations in the paint shop, including prep, priming, painting, and finishing of specialty vehicles and components. Assign work, track schedules against production needs, and keep the booths running so units move through on time without rework.
You will:
- Direct painters and prep staff, including training, coaching, and shift coverage
- Inspect finish quality (coverage, texture, color match, defects) and hold work to standard before it leaves the shop
- Manage materials, booth maintenance, and process controls so jobs stay consistent and waste stays low
- Coordinate with production, QC, and shipping so painted units are ready when the line needs them
- Enforce safety, PPE, and environmental rules in the spray area
Ideal candidates have hands-on paint or finishing experience in manufacturing (vehicles, RVs, or similar), can lead a crew, and are comfortable reading work orders and spotting finish problems before they ship. Prior supervisor experience is a plus.
