COMPANY OVERVIEWThe Wright Household: Established in 2003, therefore, with 15 years of working with CNAs, Direct Support Professionals, and/or Caregivers through homecare agencies in the Bayou Region. However, since 2016, we have become a member of the Self-Direction Option through the Louisiana Department of Health. This path has allowed us to work independently and directly with our staff and provided us with the opportunity to have control over payroll (within approved waiver), recruiting, training, supervising, and managing. We are currently looking to hire (2) experienced caregivers to help fulfill the needs of a individual with a physical disability. Please contact us at (985) 228-6262AVAILABLE SHIFTTuesday - Friday 7-3pm and 3-10pm(Every Other) Saturday & Sunday 3 PM-10 PM(Overnight) 10 PM-6 AMPRNRESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES FOR WRIGHT HOUSEHOLDPerform personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and using the bathroom.Perform household duties, including meal preparation and housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, dusting, laundry, etc.)Help with mobility, transferring, repositioning, and transporting.Prepare and submit all written progress notes by weekly deadlines.Maintain a safe and friendly work environment.Communicate with employer and employees and provide feedback regularly.QUALIFICATIONS FOR WRIGHT HOUSEHOLDA high school diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredValid driver's licenseAvailability to work mornings or evenings, some holidays, and weekendsWell-organized and reliableExcellent communication and people skillsA positive and compassionate attitudePhysical stamina and ability to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsTen years of experience in-home care, a nursing facility, or hospital settingComfortable with supervision.Ability and willingness to travel to conventions, conferences, and vacations when needed.Company DescriptionWright Household is a private, in-home care environment dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centered support grounded in dignity, respect, and professionalism.
