Job Description
Wright Ford Young & Co. is seeking a motivated Audit Senior to join the assurance department in its Irvine office. Below are some of the duties and qualifications:
- Lead audit, review and compilation engagements for a variety of industries
- Plan and execute audit and review procedures in accordance with professional standards
- Identify accounting and internal control issues
- Review audit staff workpapers and provide constructive feedback
- Train and mentor audit staff
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing excellent service and effective communication
Qualifications and Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of public accounting experience in planning and performing audits of financial statements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- CPA license or currently pursuing CPA license
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proven leadership skills demonstrating good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work in our Irvine office and at clients as scheduled
- Limited overnight travel required for inventory observations

Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 (plus overtime)
