What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crossing Guard - JX Wilson Elementary position at Wright Elementary School District?
The School Crossing Guard provides for the safety of students crossing designated street intersections or crosswalks by escorting students across such roadways in an efficient and effective manner; communicates to supervisor observations and/or incidents that may impact the general well being of students; notes and reports pedestrian right of way or other traffic law violations.
Shift is two (2) hours per day; split shift. One (1) hour in the morning at student arrival time, and one (1) hour in the afternoon at dismissal.
Physical requirements including, but not limited to: Lifting, carrying, standing, seeing, speaking, use of hands.
Bilingual Spanish is highly preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.06 - $26.31 per hour
