Marketing Consultant – Wright County Independent
The Wright County Independent is looking for a motivated Marketing Consultant to help local businesses grow through print and digital advertising.
This is an exciting opportunity to build relationships with businesses across Wright County, with a primary focus on Clarion, Belmond and Eagle Grove. You'll work directly with business owners to create advertising solutions that help them reach more customers while supporting strong local journalism.
Previous sales experience is helpful, but not required. If you're outgoing, organized, self-motivated and enjoy meeting people, we'd love to talk with you. We'll provide the training and tools you need to succeed.
This position offers a competitive base salary plus an uncapped commission plan, giving you the opportunity to build a rewarding career while making a real impact in your community.
Responsibilities include:
- Building relationships with local businesses
- Selling print and digital advertising solutions
- Developing creative marketing ideas for clients
- Growing and managing an advertising account portfolio
- Representing the Wright County Independent in the community
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and people skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Organized and dependable
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Sales or marketing experience is preferred, but not required
